Every day, health care professionals change lives. They bring comfort, provide care and make a difference in their communities. At Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW), we are proud to prepare those who answer that call.

This fall, FSW is combining its annual Preview FSW open house with the free, family-friendly Boo-ccaneer Bash. Trick-or-treat, grab some food and enjoy an evening of fun while exploring everything FSW has to offer. Preview FSW invites prospective students, their families and community members to learn about FSW’s programs in a fun, interactive way. Whether you’re just beginning your educational journey or returning to college to advance your career, Preview FSW offers a welcoming space to explore your options and connect with those who will help guide your path.

Step inside the School of Allied Health and experience what it means to learn in a real-world environment. The School of Allied Health offers a wide range of programs that prepare students for essential careers in health and emergency services. Students can pursue degrees in cardiovascular technology, cardiopulmonary sciences, dental hygiene, emergency medical services, fire science technology, health information technology, physical therapist assistant, radiologic technology, respiratory care and social and human services. FSW also offers certificate programs in emergency medical technician (EMT), paramedic, medical information coder/biller and more. Our graduates stand out across the region. Allied Health students consistently achieve strong licensure, certification and job placement rates. Many go on to serve in local hospitals, clinics and emergency response teams, helping meet the growing health care needs of Southwest Florida. These accomplishments reflect the excellence of our programs, the dedication of our students and the mentorship of our outstanding faculty.
