Candace Cameron Bure to Focus on Health in 2024: ‘Reset Body, Mind and Soul’
By Movieguide® Contributor
FULL HOUSE star and influencer Candace Cameron Bure will be focusing on health during the next season of her podcast.
“As we jump into 2024 we’re talking all about health,” Bure began. “Now I know this can be a scary topic for some of you. It might even make you go ‘ugh,’ but I truly believe we all want to be healthy, but that means different things for different people. We’ve got different bodies, different minds, different hearts, different families. There is no one size fits-all when it comes to being healthy.”
She revealed that she plans to have some of her “closest friends” on the show, including her trainer Kira Stokes, to help her subscribers learn how to live a healthy and well-balanced life.
“We’re going to learn not just about healthy bodies but about healthy minds and healthy families,” she explained. “I’m calling this season, ‘Reset Body, Mind and Soul.’ And I can’t wait for you to join us.”
Bure is focusing on health and fitness in her personal life, too. In a New Year’s post, she shared that she’s planning to incorporate more jogging into her fitness regimen.
“I just went on my first 30-minute run or jog, I should say. I haven’t jogged in a couple of years…I decided that I need to add cardio back into my routine, aside from my circuit cardio. Just something a little extra,” she shared. “So, I’ve committed myself to 2 days a week, getting between 20 and 30 minutes of jogging in, or some kind of cardio.”
She’s also planning to follow Tara-Leigh Cobble’s Bible Recap program to read the whole Bible in a year.
Cobble commented, “Cheering you on for BOTH heart endeavors—the physical and the spiritual. Love you, friend. In awe of how God has worked in our friendship.”
Cobble joined Bure on her podcast in 2022 and 2023, where they dove into complex biblical topics like the Trinity, God’s character and more.
Movieguide® reported:
In a recent episode of her podcast, Candace Cameron Bure sat down with Tara-Leigh Cobble, host of The Bible Recap podcast, to share some insights into what it means to follow God…
Bure began by describing the moment she first recognized the significance of the Bible, saying, “I had such a hunger and desire to learn God’s Word, learn who He is and all about him and all the people that He interacted with.”
“I remember being in my bedroom, that the feeling was so overwhelming about that desire and I got on my knees and prayed. I said, ‘Lord, please don’t let me forget how I’m feeling right now because I don’t want to just be all excited today,’” Bure recalled.
“It was such an honest and earnest prayer from my heart,” she told Cobble. “All these years later, I’m like, ‘God hasn’t put that flame out.’ It’s still burning bright, and I’m forever, forever grateful that He really fuels it.”
